Getting started
Keisuite is an AI-powered product studio built for wine merchants on Shopify. You type a wine name, upload a bottle photo, and Keisuite generates studio-quality product photos, accurate tasting notes, complete metafields, and publishes a draft product directly to your Shopify store. The whole flow takes about two clicks.
Yes — Keisuite is built specifically for Shopify merchants. Publishing a product page requires a connected Shopify store. That said, you can still use the photo enhancement feature and generate copy without connecting a store; you just won't be able to publish directly.
Sign up at keisuite.com/sign-up — no credit card required. You'll receive 20 free credits on your account. Then connect your Shopify store from Settings, and you're ready to create your first product page.
Roughly. You type the wine name and click "Create product" — that's click one. You upload a photo and click "Enhance" — that's click two. Keisuite handles everything in between: research, copy, metafields, photo processing, and Shopify publishing. You review the draft in Shopify and hit publish when you're happy with it.
Yes — Keisuite works great on mobile. You can upload photos, generate product pages, and publish to Shopify directly from your phone. We're actively optimising the mobile experience even further, so it keeps getting better.
Photo enhancement
Keisuite sends your bottle photo to an AI image model that isolates the bottle, replaces or cleans the background, and renders professional studio lighting — the kind you'd get from a softbox setup. The result is a clean, 1000×1000px PNG with your bottle centred on a white background, ready to drop into your Shopify product listing.
You can upload JPEG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC files up to 15 MB. Any aspect ratio is accepted — Keisuite pads and reframes the image automatically. For best results, use a photo where the bottle is upright, well-lit, and takes up most of the frame.
The AI works best when the bottle label is clearly visible, the bottle is in focus, and the background isn't the same colour as the bottle. A quick warehouse shelf photo taken with your phone is fine — you don't need professional equipment. Avoid heavily cropped images or photos where the bottle is at a steep angle.
Usually between 30 and 90 seconds. The AI model runs in the background — you'll see a progress indicator and the result appears automatically when it's ready. On rare occasions OpenAI's image service is slower than usual; we retry automatically up to three times before falling back to our own processing algorithm.
This is usually caused by a temporary issue with OpenAI's image generation service rather than anything on your end. You can check their live status at status.openai.com. If the job fails, your credit is automatically refunded. Wait a few minutes and try again — the issue typically resolves quickly.
Yes. Below the enhance button there's a text field where you can add specific instructions — for example "keep the wooden surface behind the bottle", "add a subtle warm light from the left", or "make the background pure white". The AI takes direction well. Extra instructions don't cost additional credits.
The standard output is 1000×1000px PNG. Shopify recommends square images at a minimum of 2048×2048px for zoom functionality; the 1000px output is sufficient for most product listings and loads fast. Higher-resolution output (2048px) is on our roadmap.
Product pages & AI copy
For well-known wines and established producers, the output is typically accurate and detailed — covering appellation, grape varieties, winemaking style, tasting notes, and food pairing. For very obscure, very new, or micro-production wines, the AI may produce vaguer copy. Always review the output before publishing. You can edit any field directly in Shopify after the draft is created.
Keisuite populates: wine name, producer, vintage, appellation/region, country, grape varieties, ABV, bottle size, tasting notes, food pairings, winemaking notes, and critic scores where available. These are written to standard Shopify metafields so any theme with wine metafield support will display them automatically.
Yes, and we encourage it. Keisuite creates a draft product in your Shopify store. You review and edit it in your normal Shopify admin — title, description, metafields, price, inventory — before publishing. Nothing goes live until you decide it's ready.
Yes. Keisuite writes SEO-optimised product titles and meta descriptions designed to rank for wine-specific searches. Alt text for the product image is also included. The copy is structured to include producer name, wine name, vintage, and region — the terms customers typically search for.
No. Your uploaded photos and wine names are sent to OpenAI's API for processing. Under OpenAI's API usage policy, data submitted via the API is not used to train their models. Keisuite does not use your content to train any model of its own.
Shopify connection
Go to Settings in your Keisuite account and follow the Shopify connection flow. You'll be asked to enter your store URL and grant Keisuite an access token from your Shopify admin. The exact steps are: Shopify Admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps → Create an app → set the required permissions → install and copy the token into Keisuite Settings.
Keisuite only needs write_products and write_files scopes. It never reads your orders, customers, or financial data. The access token is the minimum required to create draft products and upload images to your Shopify Files storage.
Yes. The Shopify Admin API is available on all Shopify plans, including Basic. There are no plan-specific restrictions on Keisuite's side.
Yes. Keisuite publishes using the standard Shopify Admin API. Products appear as drafts with standard fields and metafields. Your theme renders them exactly like any other product — Keisuite never modifies your storefront, theme files, or checkout.
Currently each Keisuite account connects to one Shopify store. Multi-store support is on our roadmap. If you manage multiple stores, you'd need a separate Keisuite account for each one for now.
Go to Settings in Keisuite and click "Disconnect store". This removes your access token from our database. You should also delete the custom app from your Shopify Admin (Apps → Develop apps) to fully revoke access.
If the token is invalid, the publish step will fail with an error message. Your credits are not deducted if publishing fails due to an authentication error. Simply reconnect your store from Settings with a fresh token and try again.
Credits & billing
Credits are the unit of usage. A photo enhancement costs 1 credit. A full product page — AI copy, metafields, and Shopify publishing — costs 10 credits. Credits never expire. There's no monthly minimum and no subscription. You buy a pack once and use it whenever you need it.
No. Every new account gets 20 free credits — enough for two full product pages including photo enhancement and Shopify publishing. A credit card is only required when you want to buy additional credits.
We offer four options: Starter — 20 credits for $9; Growth — 100 credits for $40; Pro — 300 credits for $110; and Custom — any amount at $0.45 per credit (minimum 50 credits). All purchases are one-time — no subscription, no auto-renewal.
Never. Credits stay on your account until you use them, regardless of how long that takes.
Purchased credits are non-refundable in general. However, if a job fails due to a bug or service error on our side, the credits for that job are automatically refunded to your account. If you believe you've been incorrectly charged, contact us at guido@primalwine.com.
No. If a photo enhancement or product page job returns an error, the credit is automatically refunded to your account. You'll see a message confirming the refund. You can then retry without losing anything.
Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. Keisuite never sees or stores your card number. All transactions are encrypted and handled directly by Stripe's infrastructure.
Yes. Stripe automatically emails a receipt to your account email address after every purchase. If you need a VAT invoice or a formatted PDF for accounting purposes, contact us and we'll arrange it.
Privacy & data
Photos are temporarily held on our servers during processing — typically less than 90 seconds for the duration of the enhancement job. They are then permanently deleted. We do not store your photos long-term, build a library of your images, or use them for any purpose beyond completing the job you requested.
No. Keisuite uses OpenAI's API, and under OpenAI's API data usage policy, data submitted via the API is not used to train OpenAI models. Your images are processed and the result is returned; OpenAI does not retain them for model training purposes.
Your Shopify access token is encrypted at rest using AES-256 symmetric encryption before being stored in our database. It is decrypted only at the moment Keisuite needs to make an API call to your store, and never logged or exposed in plain text.
Never. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or store data with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. The only third parties that receive your data are those necessary to operate the service: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (AI processing), and Railway (hosting infrastructure).
We store your name and email (via Clerk), your encrypted Shopify access token and store URL, your credit balance and transaction history, and job logs (timestamps, credit costs, success/failure status). We do not store the content of your wine descriptions, photo files, or any Shopify product data beyond what's needed to complete a job.
You can delete your account from the Settings page, which removes all stored data associated with your account. Alternatively, email guido@primalwine.com with the subject "Delete my account" and we'll handle it manually within 5 business days.
Account & settings
Email changes are handled through Clerk, our authentication provider. Click your account avatar in the top right of the app, select "Manage account", and update your email address there. The change takes effect immediately.
Currently Keisuite accounts are individual. You can share login credentials with a team member as a workaround, but please be aware that credits are shared and all actions appear under the same account. Team accounts with role-based access are on our roadmap.
Go to Settings → scroll to the bottom → click "Delete account". This permanently removes your account, disconnects your Shopify store, and deletes all associated data. Unused credits are forfeited on account deletion and are non-refundable. This action cannot be undone.
Any remaining credits are forfeited when you delete your account. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable upon account deletion. If you have a large unused balance and are considering leaving, contact us — we'll try to find a solution.
First try the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in page — this sends a reset link to your email address. If you don't receive it within a few minutes, check your spam folder. If the issue persists, contact us with the email address you used to sign up and we'll investigate.
